OBITUARY
MR. S. GRUNDY
We regret to announce the death of
Mr Samuel Grundy, which occurred
under distressing circumstances at his
place of business in Gardiner-street,
Moora, on Tuesday afternoon, The
late Mr Grundy bad been associated
with the business life of the town for a
good many years, and the news of his
death was .received with universal sorrow.
At one o'clock on Tuesday afternoon
the deceased was seen in the
town apparently enjoying his customary
health, and shortly after three
o'clock he was found lying in an un -
conscious condition on the floor of a
shed at the rear of his office.
Mr A J Simms (Inspector for the
Commercial Assurance Co), who had
a business, appointment with the
deceased, found the body as mentioned
and reported his discovery to the
police. Constable Pimblett got into
telephonic communication with Dr
Allan and within a very short time the
two were the scene: but Mr Grundy
was beyond all medical skill and expired
almost at the moment of the
doctor's arrival.
After Dr Allan had examined the
body, information was conveyed Jto the
acting-coroner (Mr W R Clinch, J.P;),
who ordered an Inquiry into the cause
of death. A jury was sworn in and an
inquest opened on the spot.
After hearing evidence the inquiry
was adjourned to the following day to
allow of a postmortem examination of
the body being made. The inquiry
was resumed on Wednesday morning,
find after taking medical evidence was
further adjourned for fourteen days.
The remains of the deceased were
interred at the Moora ^cemetery on
Thursday morning in the presence of
a number of friends and sympathisers.

PUBLIC NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the
Partnership existing between
Samuel Grundy and Edwin Grundy,
trading under the firm's names of
Grundy & Co., Auctioneers, Agents,
Moora, in the State of Western Aus-
tralia, has been dissolved by mutual
consent as from the 1st day of
January, 1915, so far as regards
the said Edwin Grundy, who
retires from the firm. All debts due
and owing by the said firm will be
received and paid respectively by
the said Samuel Grundy, who will
carry on the said business under the
style of Grundy & Co.
