Note 1: His headstone has him born about 1850. I am sceptical. More likely about 1856 the year of his parent marriage - rather than 5 years before it. Patrick was 6 at immigration in 1862

The Tumut and Adelong Times 19 Jul 1927
It was whilst the brothers and sisters of the late Patrick McGrath were at church that information of the death of their beloved brother came to them. They immediately left for Bombowlee, their brother's late residence. The McGrath family have been particularly unfortunate of late, brother Michael, the old mother, and now Mr. Patrick having passed away. Five members of the family still survive, they being Thomas (Adelong), Dan (Adelong), James (Mondongo), Miss Bridget (Adelong), Mrs C. King (Tumut). They were all present when their late brother's remains were laid, in their last resting place.
