Personal Notes:

>Walter Hoad (born 1856) Walter Hoad, the third son of George Hoad, married Olieve Brownlie in 1880. Olieve’s father constructed the Telegraph

the construction of the Catholic Church at Tumut prior to 1878. Walter and Olieve reared a family
of ten;
- Leo James Alexander Hoad born 1881, (married Alice Hewitt),
- Olieve Hoad born 1884 (married John Leonard),
- Muriel Hoad born 1884 (married John A. Brown),
- Gertrude Hoad born 1885 (married George Day),
