R. C. STEWART. A well-known native of this city, Mr. Renwick Clark Stewart, died at the local hospital on Sunday morning last at the age of 57 years. Deceased was the son of the late William Stewart, a former well-known busi- ness man. The funeral, very largely attended, took place on Monday after- noon, leaving the residence of Mr. R. E. Crewes, 13 Cole-street, for inter- ment in the local necropolis. Ernest W. Jackson had charge of the funeral arrangements, and the Rev. S. B. Goble officiated at the cemetery.
