Heath, Byron-street, early yesterday morning, of Mrs. Jane Curran (relict of the late. Mr. James Cur ran, of Mirani). The deceased lady was a well known identity in the district having resided here for the past twenty-six years, eighteen of which were spent in Mirani, where she leaves behind a host of friends. Mrs. Curran, at the time of her death, was 59 years of age, and her husband predeceased her some eighteen years ago. Death was due to Bright's disease. The funeral took place in the afternoon, the Rev. A. Dunn performing the last sad rites at the graveside. A grown-up family of two sons and three daughters are left to mourn their sad loss. One son and one daughter (Mrs. Heath) are married, and all of them reside in the district.
