The death occurred at a private hospital in Mackay on Saturday morning of Mr. William Curran, who was brought down from Finch Hatton a few days ago suffering from what was believed to be the effects of a drug... The deceased, who was a man, of about 40 years of age, leaves a widow(nee Miss Marry Gorman) and a family of three small children to mourn their loss. A post mortem was subsequently, held on the body, the immediate cause of death was given as pneumonia. The Rev. -Father O'Keeffe officiated at the graveside. |
