Personal Notes:

James Campbell and his wife came to Australia in 1853 in the same ship as the Hibbens family. They came straight to Tumut by bullock team driven by Dick Stockwell. Alexander Davis and James Cooper accompanied them. They secured an excellent farming property on the Gilmore Creek and descendants of the family worked the property for over 70 years.
