Personal Notes:
Jane was the daughter of Matthew and Margaret Hamilton. Before her death Jane was ill for some time with the Measles. Because it was taking her some time to recover it was suggested that she retire to Goulburn where the climate would be more favourable to her condition. Unfortunately, Jane's lungs had been affected by the disease and despite the best of medical help she surcame to the the condition. Her untimely passing came as a great shock to her family. She was greatly loved and deeply missed by her extended group of friends and relatives in Illabo and the surrounding district.
