POCKLEY— SARGOOD. At St. Pauls Church of England, Wahroonga, on Friday, the marriage of Mr. John Antill Pockley, third son of Dr. and Mrs. Antill Pock Icy, of 'Greystancs,' Wahroonga, with Miss Nancy Julia Sargood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Sargood. of 'Ripon Grange,' Wahroonga, was solemnised. The Rev. Langford Smith officiated. The bride wore a robe of white supple catin draped with tulle and Limerick lace. Her veil (also of Limerick lace) was arranged with a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of carnations and roses tied with tulle , streamers. Miss Sargood (sister) was- maid of henor. Little Nancy Gillespie was train bearer. Mr. F. E. Sargood (brother.) was best man. 'Ripon Grange' was illuminated with electric lights and lanterns for the reception, the bride's mother receiving her guests attired in a handsome robe of grey charmctiEC, with tunic drapery of black lace,' and a picture hat en suite. |
