WEDDINGS:
WILLS-EADE A quiet but very pretty wedding was celebrated on Thursday last at the residence of the bride's parents, Melbourne House, Walker Street, the contracting parties being Mr C. S. Wills, son of Mr and Mrs Wills of Minerva Station, central district, and Miss Lulu Eade, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Eade, old residents of this town. The Rev. Mr Webster officiated. After the wedding the happy couple left for Magnetic Island, and returning on Monday, they left by the Kyarra for Rockhampton on an extended honeymoon tour. The present, which were numerous and costly, were tokens of the respect and popularity of this old family.

PERSONAL
The friends of Mr. Cedric S. Wills, formerly of Geelong, will learn with regret that he died in Springsure, Queensland, on January 23. Mr. Wills was one of the pioneers of the Central District of Queensland. He went there immediately after his father and party of 18 had been murdered by the blacks, on Cullinlaringo, and man aged the property for many years. At the time of his death he was engaged in pastoral pursuits on Minerva, near Springsure.

In 1905 he wrote from Hay, NSW, on 4 December 1905 wrote from Deniliquin, NSW, on 4 February 1905 from Port Wakefield, SA, on 22 June 1906 from Adelaide.
In 1908 he won the Australian Buck Jumping Championship at the Sydney Showground, riding under the name "Bronco Bob".
He returned to "Minerva Creek" station shortly after but quarrelled with his father and left in 1909.
In November 1910 he was with the Development Company, Port Moresby as their Transport Manager. While there he claims to have owed and ridden the winer of the first race run in Papua new Guinea
He was back again at Minerva Creek in 1913. But after his father died in January 1914 he quarrelled with his brother Colden and left again. Married and settled in "Home Hill" North Queensland, where he died in 1957.
